Adding a project photo to an invoice or estimate

If you've added a photo to a project using the steps outlined in this article, you can add that photo to an invoice or estimate using the below steps. 

Please note that at this time, project photos can only be added to an invoice or estimate using either the web or iOS app. 

iOS 

From the project level:

  1. Tap More on the navigation bar
  2. Tap Projects
  3. Open the project you're working on
  4. From the project home page, open an invoice or estimate that has already been added to the project or add a new invoice or estimate
  5. From the document edit screen, tap Add photos 
  6. Tap Select from project
  7. Select the photo(s) you'd like to add to the invoice or estimate
  8. Tap Add selected

From the document level:

  1. Open the invoice or estimate you wish to add a project image to 
  2. From the document edit screen, tap Add photos
  3. Tap Select from project
    • If the document selected already has an associated project, proceed to step 4
    • If the document selected is not associated with a project, select a project to choose a photo from 
  4.  Select the photo(s) you'd like to add to the invoice or estimate
  5. Tap Add selected

Web

From the project level:

  1. From the home screen, click Projects
  2. Open the project you're working on
  3. From the Files tab, open an invoice or estimate that has already been added to the project or add a new invoice or estimate
  4. From the Create/Edit tab of the document edit screen, click Add photos
  5. Click Select from project
  6. Select the photo(s) you'd like to add to the invoice or estimate
  7. Click Add selected

From the document level:

  1. Open the invoice or estimate you wish to add a project image to 
  2. From the Create/Edit tab of the document creation screen, click on Add photos
  3. Click on Select from project
    • If the document selected already has an associated project, proceed to step 4
    • If the document selected is not associated with a project, select a project to choose a photo from and click on Next
  4.  Select the photo(s) you'd like to add to the invoice or estimate
  5. Click on Add selected
