Linking a bank account manually using micro-deposit

If your bank isn't listed within the Plaid network or if you prefer to link your account manually, you can securely link your bank account to Invoice2go Money using the micro-deposit feature. 

With micro-deposits, Plaid makes one $0.01 deposit into your bank account that includes a verification code in the transaction description. Once you receive the deposit in your account, you confirm the deposit within Invoice2go to verify that we’ve successfully connected to your bank. After that, you can use Invoice2go Money with your bank account.

Note: Plaid only reverses the $0.01 transaction if you fail to verify the bank account.

To connect your bank account to Invoice2go Money manually, complete the following steps:

  1. When you reach the Plaid connection section of the Invoice2go Money onboarding application, select the Manual option
  2. Enter your routing number 
  3. Enter your account number
  4. Select whether the account is a personal or business account 
  5. Enter the name associated with your bank account and click continue
  6. Select whether the account is a checking or savings account
  7. Authorize Plaid to deposit $0.01 into your account

Note: Please allow 1-2 business days to see this deposit in your account. Once you see the deposit in your bank account, you can verify your account in Invoice2go using the following steps: 

Mobile 

  1. Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen 
  2. Tap Client payment options 
  3. Tap Invoice2go Money and look for the prompt that says Verify your bank account or navigate to your linked bank account menu on the top right of Invoice2go Money
  4. Tap Verify and proceed past the next screen
  5. Enter the verification code displayed in the description of the micro-deposit
  6. Your bank account will now be successfully linked to Invoice2go Money

  1. Click your company name in the top right corner of the home screen
  2. Click Account & settings
  3. Click Client payment options
  4. Scroll down to Invoice2go Money and find the prompt that says Verify your bank account
  5. Click Verify
  6. Click Verify bank account
  7. Enter the verification code displayed in the description of the micro-deposit
  8. Click Continue
  9. Your bank account is now successfully linked to Invoice2go Money
